Warren W. Wiersbe (1929–2019) was a widely respected evangelical pastor, theologian, and author. He is perhaps best known for his “BE” series of Bible commentaries, which have helped countless readers understand Scripture more deeply. Wiersbe pastored the Moody Church in Chicago from 1971 to 1978 and later worked with Back to the Bible as a radio teacher and director. Known for his clear, practical teaching style, Wiersbe wrote over 150 books and was often called “the pastor’s pastor” for his influence on preachers and church leaders worldwide.
