Derek Prince (1915–2003) was a British Bible teacher, author, and Christian leader widely known for his teaching on deliverance, spiritual warfare, and God’s promises. Born in Bangalore, India, he was educated at Eton College and Cambridge University, where he studied philosophy and later taught at King’s College. Though raised in a traditional Christian environment, he became a committed Christian while serving in the British Army during World War II. Prince’s ministry began in earnest after the war, and he later moved to the United States, where his radio program Derek Prince Legacy Radio reached millions. He authored over 50 books, including Blessing or Curse: You Can Choose and They Shall Expel Demons, which have been translated into more than 60 languages. He emphasized practical Bible teaching, healing, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Derek Prince Ministries continues his global outreach, distributing his teachings and helping believers understand Scripture deeply. He passed away in 2003 in Jerusalem, Israel, where he had spent the last years of his life.
