Dr. Charles F. Stanley (September 25, 1932 – April 18, 2023) was a prominent American pastor, theologian, and author. He was the longtime senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and the founder of In Touch Ministries, a global Christian outreach. Stanley’s teachings were broadcast in over 100 languages and focused on practical, biblical living. He served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 1984 to 1986. His legacy includes numerous books, sermons, and broadcasts that continue to impact millions worldwide.
