Arthur Walkington Pink (1886–1952) was an English Christian evangelist and biblical scholar best known for his reformed and Calvinistic theological writings. Born in Nottingham, England, Pink briefly engaged in Theosophy before converting to evangelical Christianity. He studied at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago but left after two months, preferring independent study and writing. Pink served as a pastor in the United States and Australia but spent much of his life in relative obscurity, dedicating himself to writing. His works, including The Sovereignty of God and The Attributes of God, gained popularity posthumously and have since become influential among Reformed and evangelical Christians. Despite being largely ignored during his lifetime, Pink’s writings now enjoy widespread readership for their theological depth and pastoral tone.
